- Chita Rivera (Nickie) je stvorila lik Velme Kelly u originalnoj Brodvej
produkciji 'Chicaga' 1975. godine. 90-tih godina je glumila Roxie Hart

u filmu.
- Režiser je želeo da Catherine Zeta-Jones u filmu ima svoju dugačku prirodnu
kosu, ali ona je insistirala na kratkoj bob frizuri. Časopisu People je

da celokupni dance show nije odradila sama.

- U filmu Billy Flynn oslovljava lika Johna C. O'Reillyja, Amosa, sa 'Andy'
- ovo se odnosi na radio emisiju 'Amos'n'Andy'.
- Ovo je četvrti film koji je John Travolta odbio da radi, a Richard Gere
